DINAMO: Discussions on Nano & Mesoscopic Optics

April 8-12, 2015. El Chaltén, Patagonia, Argentina

El Chaltén, Patagonia, Argentina

Nano and Mesoscopic Optics involves the interaction of light with structures that are too small or too complex to be described by traditional continuum methods, as well as the structuring and manipulation of optical fields and interactions at sub-wavelength scale. This is a highly active and interdisciplinary area of research which involves experimental and theoretical experts from optics, acoustics, biophysics, cold atom and condensed matter physics, and telecommunications.

DINAMO aims to promote the transfer of knowledge between different branches of science and stimulate a global solutions to complex problems of nano and mesoscopic optics. DINAMO is conceived to provide an interdisciplinary forum where leading investigators from around the world can present and discuss their latest work and future challenges in an informal and interactive format. “El Chalten” offers an exceptional environment for the meeting. A beautiful natural location and an isolated venue promotes the scientific and personal interaction during presentations, discussion, meals, outdoor excursions and social events.
