February 11th is known to be the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. This annual day has to do with promote the ties between sciences, politics and society in order to look for strategies in order to improve the future of women.
María Eugenia Monge, doctor in chemistry and scientific in charge of mass spectrometry CIBION's lab, tells whats is to be a scientist and why she decided to become a researcher. She also explains her work and gives a piece of advice to those girls who want to research.
