Applied nanophysics group
Activities
In our investigations we explore the properties and technological applications of nanostructured materials, including metallic and semiconductor nanoparticles, macromolecules (DNA, proteins), and hybrid organic-inorganic nanosystems. Our research strategies are mainly based on optical methodologies, such as time resolved optical sepctroscopy, detection and monitoring of single molecules, and super-resolution fluorescence microscopy (optical nanoscopy).
